Walk to School Week 2008

Today marks the start of Walk to School Week in Scotland, encouraging families to ditch the car and walk.

Next week, starting on 19th May, children throughout the rest of the UK will be invited to join in too.

Linked to Noise Awareness Week, pupils are being encouraged to become 'Sound Detectives' and explore their route to school through sound and noise.  read more »

Share issue stokes hopes of a green future

Triodos Renewable Energy Fund (“Triodos Renewables” or “the Fund”) has announced it is launching a major new share issue. The Fund aims to raise £8.5 million which will be invested directly in renewable energy projects and companies.  The share issue will allow retail investors to join more than 3000 existing shareholders as part of the flourishing renewables industry.
