Share and share alike

BE at Home Editor, Rebecca Winward, shares her find of the week.

Sometimes I come across a company whose offering is just so damned gorgeous for a split second I don't want to tell anyone about it, in case they experience such demand that they sell out of all the lovely things I'm saving up for. But of course, if I spread the word, and the firm gets more customers, they expand and buy more stock... so it's a win/win situation.  read more »

Salad Days

Whether you've got a garden or not, you should seriously think about growing your own salad - not only will you ensure it's not been sprayed with anything nasty, but you can eat it as soon as it's been picked, so it's as fresh as you can get.

I'm particularly loving the Kimono Drum and Pink Flamingos Drum pendant shades!  read more »

So I'd never tried one - until now.

I'm not quite sure *why* I didn't think I would find something that did the job properly but didn't do a number on the planet... but at least now I know I was wrong! Yes indeed, I finally got round to buying some of that old-fashioned favourite bicarb of soda, and this time it wasn't to make my baking rise.  read more »
