Country Life Organic and the Food Face Competition

Next week marks the close of a fabulous competition for schools throughout the country, set by Country Life Organics.

They were challenged to come up with a sustainable menu and the finalists have to battle head to head in a 'cook off'....!

The response has been phenomenal - here's news from the website.

"The entries to the School's Food Face Competition have all been amazing with many inspired and well thought through menus and loads of creative and colourful designs.

It is obvious that a lot of hard work has been put into each of these submissions which has made the decision very difficult for our judges.

Congratulations to the finalists who now go through to the cook off to select the winner."

You got it and oh boy am I ever excited!

I truly believe it's crucial that we invest time and energy getting our children on the right, green track long before they reach adulthood and if we manage to do it using food, even more the better.

The cook off is next week - I'll report back with news of the worthy winner once I've changed my mucky bib...
