Super cute eco lunchbug!

Submitted by Penninah

Ok, so I found this company on one of my many google searches. I was trying to find a bib for my daughter that wasn't full of nasties! Mimi the Sardine was the answer. An American company run by the very helpful Pia Andersson.

I fell in love immediately with the mouse print fabric although there are several other very funky prints. Their range include bibs, lunch bugs/bags, very cute aprons, table covers, splash mats or you can simply purchase the material and do whatever catches your imagination with it!

The fabric is Oeko-tex certified eco friendly. (www.oeko-tex.com) No chemicals here. It is wipe clean/machine washable, water and soil resistant and biodegradable.

I tried out the lunchbug with my newly 1 year old daughter Matilda. After filling it with various objects from her toy basket and wondering about with it swinging from her arm we took it out to the park full of goodies. It was a great size for all her snacks and drink, cutlery and other lunchtime paraphernalia. It saved it all from being lost in the various pockets of the bottomless change bag! But if not for baby this really would make a great lunch bag for an older child such as Tilda's big sister 6 year old Maisy. Super. A+

I would highly recommend mimi the sardine, definitely worth the postage!
