BE at Home Editor, Rebecca Winward, shares her find of the week.

Sometimes I come across a company whose offering is just so damned gorgeous for a split second I don't want to tell anyone about it, in case they experience such demand that they sell out of all the lovely things I'm saving up for. But of course, if I spread the word, and the firm gets more customers, they expand and buy more stock... so it's a win/win situation.

My find of the week just has to be the fabulous Parna, a firm specializing in vintage and antique textiles from Eastern Europe. Everyone knows that whatever their age, 'pre-owned' items are waaaaay more eco-friendly than anything made from new materials, but that's not the only benefit to my mind - the character of these unique finds just can't be beaten. Besides, it's not like certain big interiors retailers I could name, whose designs seem to be owned by the world and his wife. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about...

Of Parna's current offering, my faves are the hand-embroidered vintage dragon wall hanging (£165) and the lovely cushion covers made from old monogrammed linen grain sacks and the like (from around £34 each). Of course, there's also the fan-dabby-dozy hand-embroidered cushion pictured above, which costs £36. Just don't you dare buy up all their stock!
