Stress for success

Eco-fashionista Emmeline is under pressure!

OK so no-one told me how stressful opening a shop would be. I don’t think I have ever had to think about so many things at one time! This week I have been dealing with all the job applications that have been coming through. I had about 180 in all that I had to sift through and somehow narrow down to about 20 who I am interviewing this week.

I have to admit I am very excited about getting some more people on the Emmeline 4 Re team and can’t wait to meet ‘the one’ but I never thought it would take so much work on my part! I will let you know about how I get along next week.

Also this week I have been starting to get the launch sorted which will be on 9 October. I have finally managed to get permission to do a fashion show in Hanover Square, so it is all systems go with all the details. I will be basing the event on Alice in Wonderland, and the launch itself will be a Mad Hatters Tea party. I also hope to have time to dress Hanover Square into a wonderland….yes I said hope!

I will make sure I get some photos taken this week of the development of the shop, so you can all have a sneak preview!
